Recipe of Cherry and kirsch sorbet

For 4 persons

  • 500ml of cherries puree
  • 50g of Amarena cherries from La Maison du Fruit Confit
  • 125g of sugar
  • 12cl of water
  • 1/4 of squeezed lemon
  • a soup spoon of kirsch

Specific ustensil:

  • an ice-cream maker


Mix the cherry puree with the squeezed lemon.

In a pan, prepare the syrup while boiling water and sugar and let it cool down.

Add the Amarena cherries in the syrup, mix it and add the cherry puree in the lemon juice.

Place the mixture in an ice cream maker.

Pour the kirsch when the ice cream is almost ready.

Make some balls, and serve it in a cut with fresh fruit or Amarena cherries.
