Chocolate cake recipe & calisson cream

Gâteau chocolaté & crème de calisson d'aix en provence

Ingredients for 8 people :

  •      200g of dark chocolate
  •      150g of butter
  •      1 jar of calisson cream
  •      150g of brown sugar
  •      10g of cocoa
  •      4 eggs

Preparation :

• In a saucepan over low heat, melt 200g dark chocolate. Add 150g of butter and 100g of calisson cream

• Once everything is melted and still on the same heat source, add 150g of brown sugar and 10g of cocoa. Then add 4 eggs. Mix everything.

• Pour the dough into a mold and slip it into the preheated oven at 160 ° (5 1/2). Let cook for 45 minutes and let stand before unmolding.

• Enjoy as is, or with a whipped cream flavored with coffee or Amaretto.
